Openrc-0.4 unable to reboot/shutdown

Since I upgraded to openrc-0.4 I'm unable to reboot/shutdown "softly": I always have to hold down the power button, otherwise the system stays on.

If I remember correctly the last line I can read is "Remounting / read-only" (actually most times I cannot read anything since the framebuffer is blank when X is shutdown, but I still have to figure out where this issue comes from).

Together with openrc I upgraded udev to 135-r2; a couple of days earlier I upgraded hal to 0.5.11-r4 to fix a bug with kernel 2.6.27; before upgrading openrc the shutdown/reboot sequence worked as usual.

I don't know what more information should I post (this is a weird kind of bug for me), I'm attaching just my emerge --info

This is the same as this Bug:  http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=251749

openrc-0.4.0 requires sys-apps/sysvinit-2.86-r12, but due to a typo in the ebuild, portage does not update/warn about this.
This typo is already fixed.
