Description
During the boot on one of my systems populating /udev takes ages (literally 2-3 minutes). On two other ones it takes just a few seconds (which I think is correct).
The "slow" one is running 2.6.24 (but I'm not sure if that's related anyhow). I will test the other ones against 2.6.24 to check if it's kernel related. All of them are using udev-118-r3
shout if you need any extra information.

open just says "udev start". If udev is slow, that's it's own business and not
ours. I suggest you open a bug upstream.
FWIW, on all my machines udev is pretty fast poking up.
Ok I will investigate it further. I posted here, just because it start happening after switching to openrc (none other packet was updated at the time) and on only ONE machine. Thanks for looking though!
