Description
Hi,
AFAIK, the order of loading should be :
- udev-mount (mounts /dev as tmpfs)
- devfs (mounts /dev/pts, /dev/shm)
- udev (makes /dev/....)
I can see that /etc/init.d/udev needs udev-mount, but on a computer, udev is started when udev-mount has not started.
On another computer, I have devfs started, and then udev-mount.
This, of course, makes /dev/pts unusable.
Am I alone ?

OpenRC does not ship with a udev script - you should file a Gentoo issue about this.
