I'm a university student, currently studying IT (Software Engineering) and Engineering (Electronics) at QUT Gardens Point. My interests include Electronics, Computer Programming, Computer Hardware, Record collecting and Bushwalking.

Amateur (Ham) Radio

I can be found on the 2m and 70cm bands under the callsign VK4MSL. Catch me on:

• 70cm: VK4RBC (Mt. Coot-tha) repeater at 438.525MHz (input -5MHz offset)
• 2m: VK4RBN (Mt. Glorious) repeater at 147.000MHz (input -600kHz offset) on Wednesday Nights for VK4BA net.
• 20m: 14.125MHz USB during the day when at home.
• 40m: 7.075MHz LSB during the mornings/afternoons when at home.
• 80m: 3.600MHz LSB during the evening when at home.
• When mobile outside Brisbane: Standard 2m call frequency, 146.500MHz FM Simplex or Standard 70cm call frequency, 439.000MHz FM Simplex..
• EchoLink: on conference *AUSSIE*, node 95092.

In Person

I tend to loiter around the Brisbane CBD quite a bit... seeing as uni is just nearby. Assuming I'm not in a mad rush to get somewhere, I'm happy to talk and answer questions.
