This is my Gentoo Linux page where I will list my principal activities.

Projects I am participating in.

• Scientific Gentoo.
Right now a subproject of Gentoo Desktop. Although I think we really need to organize better and start a top-level project — there is enough material for this! But of course we need more people and energy..
• Non mainstream (programming) languages.
Started a few herds already, some of which are kicking along quite well. It was usually like this:
• find a language where enough interest is shown,
• identify major contributers,
• recruit somebody :).
• Russian translations.
Started quite some time ago - GWN was not even around then :). Of course people come and go as it happens, but nonetheless there is something to look at!
• Ukrainian Gentoo community.
Right now just the irc channel #gentoo-ua on irc.freenode.net, but the interest is surely picking up! If you are interested in promoting Gentoo in Ukraine or ukrainian language in Gentoo or simply want to chat/meet people/participate in translation effort, do show up on that channel or even just email me!

Stuff for discussion.

• Distributed ebuild processing. See also bug #1523.
This got started in a usual way - by following some discussion on a -dev mailing list.
It seems every half a year or so (it was even more frequent back then) somebody gets unhappy enough about "all those new submissions piling up" and starts the conversation on how can we push more stuff in..
• Just some exercise in Ada, portage related :).
Should not be taken really seriously - prompted by another discussion. Back in the times when we were small (or at least smaller :)) and talks about rewriting portage were new and taken seriously (that was when we did not even have a dedicated portage team and drobbins was around)..
