BoF: Community management for Linux distributions As the first community that users typically encounter in free/open-source software (FOSS), distributions play a difficult and unique role. It's not unusual for contributors to Linux distributions to be both younger (on average) and less experienced than those in other FOSS projects, which raises questions of how and whether to handle them differently. At this BoF, we can share how our distros approach community management and discuss potential improvements.
