the 3.1.29 ebuild was using --arch="$CHOST" when all the make file knows
how to comprehend for that is i386, ppc, or alpha.

Changed it so it reads --arch=i386 since we don't have any other ports

make.conf: moved objprelink from unstable list to stable off-by-deafult list since kde now has it built-in.
make.globals: added /usr/share/config to protected dirs list since we now install kde into /usr.

Made this package support rc5/rc6 at the same time. Updated the profiles
inclusion masks to reflect this. Slightly tweaked the rc6 initscript
mostly with some additions as suggested on the gentoo-dev mailing list.

Renamed the cron stub in files, to be more indicative of what it is.

sorry for all the changes to this recently..

added AUDIT to the docs.

decided it was better to include the sample.conf from the
distribution, into our docs; rather than installing the
sample one we had in FILESDIR. removed said example.

really removed svc stuff from the rc5 package this time. doh.

massively trimmed the comments I added about the dependency
init system in the rc6 script. opted instead for
"the short answer". im pretty sure not everybody needs
the stupid, ugly details staring them in the face huh =P

some small cleanups to the initscripts. return 0 -> return duh

and that should be about it.

Couple of fixes in the logic, and added some more comments.

I an unable to "break" this script now, in any way, shape
form or fashion. It is pretty darn robust. The only real
excellent change that could be made at this point, is to
have a look at why xinetd returns an successful status
code when it reads a "defaults only" config file. While
that might make sense to programmers, to an administrator
it would be more helpful to return an error because then
start-stop-daemon would actually be useful. Instead it
just makes things difficult.

Please see those comments, and *do* take a look at the
xinetd source if you feel like it! Otherwise we should
be rock solid on this package now, except for security
issues and such ;-)

Xinetd is finally finished. rc6 and rc5 are both currently support, along with appropriate blocks on the profiles. If you update xinetd ebuilds you will have to adjust the profiles accordignly. The only trick is not forgetting to update the rc5 profile, the rc6 one should not need updating.
